Nauman Outdoor has been serving communities in Central & Southeastern Ohio for almost 90 years, delivering effective outdoor advertising options. We have more than 450 advertising faces throughout Central & Southeastern Ohio in a variety of formats. A Proud Heritage
Rolland Nauman started Nauman Outdoor in 1931. Rollie began his career as a sign painter for the Thomas Cusack Sign Company in 1917. Then, in 1928 Rollie was recruited to work for Black Sign Company. Upon the untimely death of the company's owner Chauncey Black, Rollie saw an opportunity to start his own business - Nauman Sign Co.
Since its founding, four generations have owned Nauman Outdoor. Rollie's son Ralph joined the company in 1945 and purchased it from his father in 1963. After returning from Vietnam in 1966, Ralph's son Jerry joined the company and later purchased it in 1974. Now the company is owned by Jerry's son Jay, who joined the company in 1995. He then purchased it from his father in 2001. Through the generations, Nauman Outdoor has perfected a proud tradition of service, knowledge, and integrity. We put those elements to work for our customers every day.
